I've been doing it since before seeing that xkcd; it's just quicker to enter 99 than 140 :)

Since we're already this far off topic, microwave logic: 100 is 39 seconds less than 99.

I just give them information based on what they are wearing.

Business suits at work, jeans/t-shirt, or normal casual clothing at home = Android, or Windows Mobile

Plaid, bright coloured suits, turtlenecks, jeans too tight = iPhone

Naked = I usually just tell them to leave, unless they are hot




I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.
