I've just clocked up 75 last month. Another 20 to go!

A bit harder to award age badges as that would have to be a manual process - how to validate the input and preventing user "Methuselah" from claiming a "1,000 years old" badge?

But well done to everyone of any age who still have a little bit of geekiness inside :)

I can't quite remember, but I think I am 74. I know I was more than 70, when I last looked at a calendar in 2010, or was it 2008?

I sometimes wonder if I was talking to a 13yo here or to someone in his 70s...not that it really matters.
So I wonder what's the majority of the age group here in GZ. I'm between 30-40, I'll guess that's the majority.

It would be interesting if Mauricio creates a poll to determine the oldest and youngest and the majority.

From previous demographics charts by Nielsen our average was between 25 - 45.

Just over 60 - not claiming the oldest - but maybe I started work in IT, or Computing as it was called then, at a youngest age. I was  16 when I started operating those big big big monsters that would take up a whole room. An ICL 1909 it was.

"Someone set this as The Answer but that may not be correct - PerfectStranger Bob said he is "... in his 70's..." so he may be older than Patricia."

Just to clarify. I'll be 72 in December. So Patricia may have pipped me at the post.

Fun, I have worked for ICL. But probably not seen any of the machines you worked on.

I am 43, started with computers in the 80s, so a bit later than you probably.

This is called neotony, and it's a good thing. I have it and hope to retain it.

DEFINITION OF: neotony:. Noun, the state resulting when juvenile characteristics are retained by the adults of a species.
