mudguard: Ok, so I start a new job next week. 3 weeks in 4 I'll be all over the country, and staying in hotels most of the week and back home for weekends. Quite often my day will be done around 2-3pm each day. So my question is, what to do with my time afterwards?
My colleague has done the role for the last five years and wished he'd made better use of it. Daylight hours I'm fine, I'll either have my golf clubs or mountainbike. However obviously it's not light all the time. I don't really want to just watch tv or drink!
I'm thinking about learning another language, I'm not really too keen on any formal extra curricular learning, but wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for learning a language. I will be driving a lot, so will be able to listen to my iPod etc.
Has anyone done this before?
