Ha I was just going to say that... keep refreshing and you get more chances! It's going to cost Bunnings a fortune. I wonder if it is targeted more to Aussies. I have never heard anyone refer to it as Bunnies before.

Also, interesting Bunnings aren't on the social network scene. Wonder if that is why they were targeted, makes it harder for them to get the word out it's a scam to ol' Facebook folk.

Nope. These same types have done it with Woolworths and other brands which are big into social media. Frankly, it's the same as those "we've got 5000 iPads to give away because we accidentally unsealed the box!" type scams.

Usually they're twofold - first is they hand your details to spammers and those crappy surveys that they get a few cents on each response. Second, is that they get a lot of likes on a page that they then sell to companies as part of a "social media package". You know all those places that sell pages pre-loaded with likes from real people? This is how they get them.

I wasn't aware of people selling likes in that way.
