I can give a perspective on the Gear from a Horologists point of view, not that it's probably worth much given that it's more of a wrist-phone than a wrist-watch. Given that my Pebble has just died on me, there's an (albeit faint) possibility that a Gear might end up in the mix along with the virtually inevitable Note 3.

NZTechFreak has shared some interesting opinions re the Z1 Vs the Note 3, given that they're not entirely dissimilar, it'd be interesting to see more views on the "larger" devices for those of us endowed with more gorilla-like mitts.

I think the Nokia 3650 was my first "smart" phone, that was an odd beast. Rather annoyed that a friend lost it otherwise I would've kept it for the novelty value.

Would love to participate since I am really keen to get my hands on the latest and greatest and put it through the gruelling tests that is me :). I should be able to compare daily usage of these devices and compare it to the current king of androids, the HTC One.

Also would love to see how this device fairs in the corporate world and how much can an end user get the most out of their device and use it effectively.

In terms of non phone devices, I am thinking this could be a tablet. I am looking to get a new tablet so would be a good device to play around with and put through a few everyday use cases!

I would love to have another go @telecomTech

Wifey has put a tech spending freeze on me and there are all these cool toys becoming available and well I just have a short attention span when it comes to gadgets lol

As much as I or many others would like a bash with a 1020, an injustice will be done if nztechfreak's name is not at the pointy end of a very short list, I very much look forward to seeing Murray put one through its paces!

Here's hoping the list of available toys extends to include some other great toys like surface pro 2's or nokia 1520 or the beastly xperia z1

Chuck my name in the hat, hopefully it's part of their 4G launch also :)

Pretty keen to be involved! I've seen the development of the mobile phone come some way since my Motorola Startac in 1998, through to Windows Mobile, and hacking my HTC Titan to install Android 0.9 and thinking.. this thing is going to blow up... But that's me I love to learn about new development, hence I was keen to see what Android was all about

Always dabbled in tech and would love to experience a new gadget/phone and provide some feedback via Telecom Tech. I believe I can write about an experience that both technical and non tech aligned readers will enjoy. I've written the odd article for a polynesian sports magazine so keen to expand my writing portfolio :-)

Currently have a Samsung Galaxy S4, so would love to have a Note 3? to review. I've had the odd Nokia handset over the years, the last being a Nokia Xpress 5800. I have dabbled with Windows 7 and 8, and looking forward hopefully to reviewing a Windows 8 handset and experiencing the differences against my usual Android daily driver.

I'm keen. My partner is an artist and writer and smartphone-less, and I'm always trying to find her a better way to make notes, tag images and keep track of her work.  Doesn't like spending time with new technology to learn all its tricks, and wants something that 'works' and enables creativity and not get in the way of it. I could follow the journey of someone to whom a smartphone like a Note or Lumia would seem like a perfect match..

Very keen on this. I've recently been getting more into the slightly more higher end phones and really enjoying them. Have used both Android and Windows phone a fair bit of late. Particularly interested in phones with good cameras for taking pics of the kids\family when out and about. Also using the phone more and more for email, the occasional bit of browsing, gps, etc.

Count me in please :) total geek here

Love all things Tech, used to be heavily involved in the development of DarkyRom and then AllianceRom when it started, now I just help out and enjoy the phones. I have through most of the big name android phones over the last few years, have reviewed units from Nokia (Lumia 800) and HTC (One X) last year on the site http://myportableworld.com

I love seeing what new thing companies have to bring to the mix and I'm not just an android boy either, every OS has its place and target market.

Anything you can throw my way I'd love to do a write up on for you guys

Love of all phones, computers and gadgets

Throwing my name in the ring for this.

I've been running Windows Phone since not long after release, but have not yet been able to make the jump to WP8. My wife has an older iPhone, and the kids have taken over my HP Touchpad (now running Android).

I'd love to see how the WP8 experience goes, especially now that I have Win8 on my new PC. I like connecting the dots with technology, and once used my WP7.8 to remote control my Samsung TV, to update my Facebook through the Samsung app - just because I could!

I will throw my hat in the ring for the Note 3 then! I will hold up my 16000 word review for the original Note as a resume :)

Congrats to whoever was selected, look forward to reading your thoughts!

In the last 2 weeks I've test driven an S3 mini, S3 (I have one of these personally anyway), an S4, S4 mini and a Lumia 520.

Was blown away by the S4 Mini. The Lumia 520 I couldn't get rid of fast enough! So will be interested in hearing how the person with the 1020 gets on.

Congrats to the Nokia reviewer! I stared pretty hard at my messages before convincing myself there was no spinning yellow envelope :D

Hopeful the next one :-) Good luck to everyone!

I am keen to have another go with TelecomTech and more than happy to review ANY phone/gadgets out there! At the moment, I have some spare time and super keen to get involved again.

My review will be more about "normal" user which will be useful for majority of the customers. My current smartphones are Galaxy Note 2 (4G) and Xperia Z. I am more than happy to compare newer phones against these two. My past smartphones: HTC Magic, Galaxy S2, Defy, Milestone 2, Galaxy Nexus, Lumia 920. Oh, I am also super interested to trial any SmartWatch! I have been looking at those on kickstarter but have not yet found that appeal me... On top of that I am also a current Telecom customer!

If I do get selected again, I would like to do another honest comparison between the three network in Tauranga. I have delved into this in the last review but will do a very detailed one.

Actually, take my name out of the hat for the Note 3, I'm all set to buy that anyways and I've had a round of Telecom Tech already. I've already said I'd like to see what scottjpalmer and bighammer have to say about it, but will also add Damager to the list of people who should have a crack at the Note 3. Good luck all.
