the Youshop website indicates this is a package from Dell (when you go in and view your packages and choose to pay to have something sent on)

I know because I've ordered something from Dell at around the same time and it came through Youshop and arrived fine

which again made my scratch my head how the shipping address changed, because orders before and after this one from the same account all have the correct shipping address

Make sure you screenshot the Dell website immediately, in case they change it or something. If you don't get something you ordered then that's definitely grounds for a chargeback. Dell can recover the laptop from whoever they sent it to.

Hey - just a thought, but if it was Dell that scrambled the address, then presumably this guy also ordered something from Dell around the same time, which might explain why he paid for shipping.

Woah this sucks, so did you get a result from this Nathan?  I'm in a similar situation, however it's a Amazon package and at this stage it appears the Youshop warehouse made the mistake of allocating it to another account instead of mine.  The Amazon shipping address is correct with my Youshop ID etc.

Very interesting problem indeed. Keen to hear how this works out too.

From the sounds of the post above mine, maybe its a youshop problem afterall? Or maybe I misunderstand.

The fact that Dell had the other person's details listed implies it is likely they have ordered something off previously if not recently, They may not be aware this was not in fact their package or may have suspected items where shipped separately.

I hesitated to use the NZ Post one...I went with Ship2U in the end.

Have to say it was great, I received no emails or anything, but things were updated on my account page at each stage, NZ tracking provided and parcel arrived in good time.

Will use them again for sure.

I work in the NZ Post’s Digital Platforms team, which is responsible for the YouShop product.

Our Customer Support Team have been investigating this parcel delivery issue outlined in this thread. It appears that two YouShop customers ordered the same product from Dell at the same time. When Dell processed the orders, they have, in error, mixed the orders and then sent only one parcel. When the parcel arrived at the US warehouse, it was correctly processed and delivered as the YouShop customer id, name and address were valid.

Dell has since been alerted about this error and I understand both parcels have now been shipped.

We appreciate your continuing support of YouShop and welcome any feedback @ http://csc.custhelp.com/app/ask
