I hate April Fools Day.  It's 2014, time to bin it.

I hate a few things as well, but that doesn't mean they should be binned for everyone.  I personally enjoy a few extra laughs on April 1.

Not sure if this one was actually an April fools joke or if its just another desperate attempt by the dumb anti-flyover-brigade as to why this flyover is a bad thing.

Concerns have been raised that school children will throw bags, rocks and even other students off the Basin Reserve flyover.

The path will sit about 10 metres above Kent and Cambridge terraces.

She pointed to fact that three schools - Wellington College, Wellington East Girls' College and St Mark's Church School - surrounded the Basin precinct, meaning the path would be used by a lot of students.

She was willing to bet money those students would throw bags off the flyover as a way of antagonising other pupils. She was also worried about the prospect of students throwing other students off the structure, either intentionally or accidentally.
