Thanks for the link have had a look on the net about reaction times and things. So far am looking at getting two of these, 1 for the lounge and 1 for the office and also a UPS for the office for the PC, ADSL, and in future NAS. Would these be sufficient?
those look to be pretty good after looking the specs over in the pdf and you may find that UPS to small to last you with the amount of gear you want to plug into it

+1 Agree Never economise on a UPS - the cheap ones are rubbish - get a good one or don't buy one at all. I would suggest a 1000VA (or higher) APC UPS - expensive, but worth it.
