Problem I have with iparcel is that you have no idea who they will deliver with, so I cant choose an appropriate address at order time.

Have had 2 orders cancelled because of the address, yet others get to nz couriers who then called me to ask the street address and are apparantly clued up enough to keep a list to use in the future.

Ruphus:
khull: I'd stay away from iParcel for anything time sensitive or perishable. Worst logistics company ever to be established. I believe they are run by UPS now (not USPS)

We don't really get to choose who the carrier is so it might be hard to stay away from them.

The SSD that I ordered from black Friday still hasn't arrived.

technically you can - there are other services like YouShop or other forwarders that will do it on behalf. It won't necessarily be the cheapest

i-Parcel is a bit hit and miss. In my experience, it either sucks and takes forever, or comes like any other shipping provider would. Here is the tracking info from a tablet I ordered on December 2nd:

This order came pretty quickly, but stuff in the past has taken upwards of 3 weeks. This was with NZ Post Rural as well (it was handed to them and then delivered to us, but we're only 10mins from Hamilton, so hardly rural).

I just wish Amazon would let us pick the shipping company, not just the shipping speed. Even if it cost $5 more I would go with other companies on the standard shipping.

You can ask amazon to set a flag on your account to not use iparcel, someone mentioned earlier.

OK, my parcel arrived yesterday, only one day after expected date so pretty good I reckon.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Well I'm up to 3 weeks since ordering, which I think is my slowest ever international order (except when customs inspected my item). I contacted them and they refunded the shipping, issued a $5 promo credit and told me it'll be here before Christmas.
