I had a bad experience with Amazon/iParcel a while ago although Amazon was great and couriered out a replacement within the week. I have another parcel from them (Xmas present unfortunately) and tracking shows it has been sitting in Auckland pending customs clearance etc. for the last 4 days. (Its just a book, value abt $20)
Amazon delivery date was for today, 18th, but courier has been and gone already :-(
I am just wondering if based on others experience I have a chance of getting this before Xmas?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

It varies in my experience.

I ordered two watches from Amazon on 6 Dec with indicated delivery date on 29 Dec. I received the first one yesterday and their system shows the 2nd one arrived in AKL yesterday.

Packaging done by iParcel isn't as quality as what I got from Amazon in the past but it works just fine.

I ordered something on the 7th and it came yesterday. Tracking isn't very accurate as it says it is still in transit.

I thought packaging is done by Amazon no matter the freight company.

I have something that was received by iParcel on the 29th Nov and it appears that its never left the US. I have them tracing it but not holding up much hope. Supposed to be here 2 days ago, luckily its not important or expensive.

Although, I complained and amazon refunded my shipping but i'd prefer the goods on time, especially when I requested a shipping upgrade.

My recent experience has been terrible. I ordered something from Toys R Us who use iParcel for international orders. The checkout page kept going into limbo everytime. Eventually gave up and got some other stuff elsewhere. Then we started receiving emails from iParcel saying order is being processed. WTF! Looks like two of the attempts had made it through.

Anyway left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Spent several hours on the phone with iParcel and Toy R Us to even find out what was in the orders. Toy R Us dont record the order on their system and iParcel cant tell what's in it.

Eventually found out the contents of each order but was "too late" to cancel either of the orders.

Ordered at the beginning of December and still waiting for anything to arrive.

I'd stay away from iParcel for anything time sensitive or perishable. Worst logistics company ever to be established. I believe they are run by UPS now (not USPS)

We don't really get to choose who the carrier is so it might be hard to stay away from them.

The SSD that I ordered from black Friday still hasn't arrived.

I had Fastway deliver an Amazon iParcel shipment just before 7pm, I think that arrived in NZ on Monday.
