IF I had personalized plates I would have something in 'code' like KJJRFT and then I would have the words 'wassa matter, don't you get it' around them, to take the mickey out of all those personalised plate freaks whose plates are really lame...  LOL  Well, I am from australia after all.  We aussies (me and my 21 YO daughter, that is) Don't like all the 'ones' and "'I's taking up space when someone has already pinched what you wanted.  Mind you, you GZ'ers have definitely got great plates!!!

I would rather have the plate "6FOOT7" but cant justify $699 for it... (Unless some fool pays too much for my current plate on Trademe).

Working in IT, I had to be original (not) and purchased PCBIZZ for my Telstar XRi.

My plates arrived this morning.

Am going to get them remade in the new lettering style, as they have stone chips all over them from the previous owner...

As long as Sanyo phones have CDMA written on the back of them I'm happy. Actually Globalstar satellite phones use CDMA for their satellite air interface. So If sat phones take off anytime soon it will definitely be worth having.

And no, I didn't buy them new, my only new plates (which have disappeared into limbo) were JAKOB in 1998. Paid $425 for them, sold them for $80 as understandably nobody wanted them. Got a shock after buying CDMA to see new plates were up to $700 now.

I've got two personalised plates, bought the first three years ago for around $400 (I think) and bought my second a month ago - was amazed that they are now $700!

Anybody know if competition could be introduced to Personalised Plates?  Would be nice to be in an industry where you are the only player, and you set all the rules.
