Hey, that's a really good idea! From the results I'd say the TradeMe winner got himself a bargain at $96 (You'd never convince me that a female would buy something like that).

Heck, I just notices the eBay price is in GBP, so at £1250 that's about NZ$2425... and they got it for $96!

Good thing I didn't find that auction. As I would have bidded on it. I would have then set about modifying it to instead work with 12V. So this power supply could be put into retirement.

As it was made in 1981. A stack of them were used to produce the 50vDC for telephone systems.
