Highly specific Telco Grade rack gear with someone asking what it is...

Either it fell off the back of a truck, someone found it on trademe/ebay or someone just cleaned out a Data Centre.

I've no clue what AITMOAFU means ... sounds nasty, you might want to get that looked at!

But the auctions clearly says what the thing being sold is : "Huawei GYE EPS 01B Redundant Power Distribution Unit"  why buy something without reading the words ?

Today it has been used for a bit of interesting posting on GZ :-)

But I suspect that it woud normaly get used to convert the Local AC power supply to a reguated DC suppy To maintain the charge in back up batterys & @ the same time use the DC supply from the batteries via a reguated DC power compenets on to Telco gear attached.

These and simmilar (larger and smaler & differnt manufactures) can be foud in just about every Buiding, Hut, Box or Cabinet houseing active Telco equipemnt in NZ
