Closest guess to the actual cause wins the title of "prime suspect"!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

I like Toyota but would never touch one of those model Previa/Estima.  Have lost count of the number I have personally seen catch fire.   Followed one on Kaimai on fire.  Mum and kids in and she was reluctant to pull over.  When she did we got the kids out okay. Fire service put fire out and it could be repaired but probably more than worth.  So the ones of these I have seen caught fire have been electrical by main lead at starter motor.
If not caused by tradesmans equipment I would say would be electrical around engine.  But too early to speculate and main thing is everyone is safe.

Just an extreme timing coincidence of alleged threats against private interests and this fire.

Nothing to see here. Move along them.

"The shopping mall is equipped with sprinklers, but the car park is not. As a result, smoke has filled the underground car park area and spread into the mall".

Is that a hosereel or a fire connection point in the middle right of the picture underneath the aircon?

I just read the Stuff article who quoted the guy:
"I saw a small fire at the front of the vehicle.

"Within 15 to 20minutes the whole thing went up in flames and smoke was pouring out."

I wondered, why didn't he raise an alarm when the fire was small?

Could (being Stuff) be bad reporting of course.

15 to 20 minutes for the fire dept to arrive? that seems unlikely.

or possibly staff calling management and wasting time instead of making the call?
