"Easter Travel Chaos as 16 Million Cars set to plough through the rain". Many Kiwis do not know how well off we are over here. Regardless, I tend to stay off the roads at holiday times .......... too many people getting frustrated with the 80 - 90 kph brigade.
It will be interesting to compare the accident rates though...!
New Zealand is twice as bad across per head of population and distance categories, and 70% worse when measured per vehicle on the roads.
I think it is fair to say that NZ is a more dangerous place to drive than the UK.
