I enjoy spicy food but I'm not interested in trying this pizza. +1 for Sal's Pizza in Auckland. The pizzas you can buy on the corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki St are really good too. Never tried Scopa but will give them a nudge asap.

I wonder how many people are visiting their GP's because of burnt backsides.

Haven't tried it and being someone with an already sensitive stomach won't be trying it.

Seems like just another case of bullsh!t one-upmanship machismo behaviour to me...

I love hot food and the effect it has, but I'm totally aware there's a point where heat just destroys the flavour of food and therefore destroys the enjoyment of eating it. I've also seen the long-term effect of eating too much hot food over a lifetime, which can result in people losing their sensitivity to taste more subtle flavours. I love food too much to risk that!

I had it and found it alright to eat, finished a whole pizza without too much issues.

The next day was spent with my rear on fire and all the pain.
