It looks like the sort of thing that's so hot it's just not enjoyable, and people only have it for the "challenge."  I don't really see the point if that's the case. Let us know how it goes though ;-)

I managed to eat 1 slice and then quit. I always eat spicy foods but still too much for me.

Some guys at work last year had this pizza and gave me a slice. It was sooooo hot and horrible. I couldnt eat the whole piece. If this years is hotter then thats just dumb. It is not enjoyable and i would rather eat a nicely flavoured spicy pizza than have bragging rights and a sore gut.

If i remember correctly i felt a little bit light headed after eating this.

Tired of Hell Pizza. If you are in Wellington you should be having either Pomodoro or Scopa, really.

Oh well I did it last year then! I made them put it on the whole pizza (large) and ate it all.

Yes it is hot but not if you grew up eating chicken Phall after a night on the sauce....

Yes you should. Hell is synthetic - barely one up from Pizza Hut really.

When I was a student, the Pizza Hut all you can eat buffet at lunchtime was a favourite. (Most PH restaurants in the UK are dine-in with table service, unlike here where they mostly seem to be takeaway) I think it was about ten quid and boy, did we get our money's worth! ;-)

While you may prefer other places..

It is the hottest pizza in Australasia, it's like a challenge.

More about the pizza itself, not where it comes from

Yeah..nah.

It's a rubbish pizza covered in hot sauce. A decent Vindaloo will out pace it for hotness if you want a challenge. Or just buy the hot sauce and see how many teaspoons you can eat before you cannot manage more...

The pizza consists of:

Venison

Pepperoni

Onions

Capsicum

Tomatoes
Ghost Chilli's

And this sauce

Tried it on Friday, here is my blow by blow account

1) T-0 secs : Slice one first bite, quite a lovely mix of flavour, this hot sauce actually tastes good.
2) T-10 secs : I exclaimed "This tastes quite nice" thats about all I got out before the heat set in
3) T-2 min : Managed to get 2 slices down, heat not so bad with food in mouth but it just kept getting worse
4) T-4 min : mad dash to the cafe to get milk, guzzled down 400ml..to full to drink more...sweating, pale, nausea
5) Heat took about 20 minutes to die down, felt like crap, tired, lethargic for rest of day
6) T-7 hours : What goes in must come out :) .. spent around 2 hours with agonizing gut ache, while doing about 3 burning 15 minute toilet sessions

Verdict

Complete waste of $10...but lesson learned..

FYI, I can easily eat Jalepenos, Culleys Hot Sauces, Hot Vindaloo's, Kaitaia Fire...this was a whole new level of heat (and pain)

Pizza Huts use to be all dine in, well all I'm aware of, and we had the $9.99 (I think it was that much) all you can eat deals as well.  I remember going their the last year of highschool a few times, so it was available up until 2000.   But now theyre all just takeaway.

Off topic, but what I really want is pizza hut express like they have in Australian malls, small snack pizza's for the price of a burger.  Haven't been to ozzie in years, so not sure if theyre still around, but the were awesome.

hot pizza that isn't enjoyable and just hot == pass.

If I'm going to spend $17 on a pizza, its going to be a good pizza I enjoy.

Im keen as to try this. However the nearest hell's is nearly 2 hours away. Im a regular user of Blair's ultra death sauce which is about 1 million scoviles and i have a collection of trinidad scorpions in the freezer that i regularly use.

The old Dragons fury was nothing, they have now added Carolina Reaper's which i would assume from what ive read has actually made it quite hot.
