I would put a picture, except that it's a mess due to my recent return from a trip with the acumulated paper trail and more... I might update this later.

It couldn't be any more of a mess than my desk (although I must confess I fleshed it out a bit from my store - the scones and coffee were good though). Tongue out

Yes that desk is way to tidy, but really cool at the same time ;)

I have too much on my desk at the moment to take a photo.. all you would see is a pile of paper and assorted junk. But to give a general idea I'll do some drawings (cheap ones) and make a list of what I want to fit on it in the end ;)

Heres a top down view of what I would like the desk layout to be:

Stuff with green around it is stuff I dont have - I could put CRTs instead of the screens but.. NO I wont go that low :P
Blue dots are where I could put holes for cables (Cable management is important)
The "RL" "SL" "FL" "C" "FR" "SR" "RR" are Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers in Wide configuration

My current desk is made up of two desks, the base of my old one and the top half of one that was in the garage when we moved here. They arent joined by anything more than friction and gravity. The desk has major burns and some water damage.
Im not looking to make a pretty desk. Im more thinking about nailing / screwing some pine together, attacking it with a drill and putting my junk all over it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for my future desk?

One laptop, two Disc Stakka, a 19 inch monitor, four external HDD (1TB, 500GB, 160GB and 60 GB) plus truckloads of paper. The paper part is that causes so much "disturbance in the force"...
