SWMBO has decreed it will go up on 1 Dec and must come down by 3rd Jan otherwise we will have a year of bad luck. She has yet to be able to direct me to a validated source for this witchcraft, but who am I to argue, when the human race is at stake.




Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Try telling SWMBO that the date to come day is Epiphany 6th January and see if the good luck happens. Even better, it will be a Sunday this year so it will be a thing to do during that long weekend.

on a related note though, There is this massive santa which was erected at work on Saturday.
