OT, but maybe where you live, around here there are a number of street boxes around.  A couple of which don't have slot restriction bars so can take parcels up to about 5cm.

That is an EXTREMELY bold call. Frankly, if there was mention of the seller here it would be defamatory.

As a frequent seller on Trademe, it is not at all uncommon for items sent by NZ Post Untracked Parcel Post to take well over a week  I dare for you to go make that kind of statement in the Trade Me Top Sellers forum and just see what kind of response you'd get.

I wouldn't because that forum is full of dickheads who have no idea how to run a business.

Post is a pain. You have to go to the post shop to send. We would do that once a week as there were some tight rural whiners (as evidenced on here) that wouldnt want courier because they were rural. Difference is we told people that friday and sometimes tuesday were posting days.

As a tight rural whiner I often request regular post for small items and will go somewhere else if the seller doesn't wish to do this. I simply refuse to pay more for the delivery than the item costs. At the same time, I am not demanding about it and I make a point of clarifying that I am in no hurry. I see it as a trade-off. If the seller is prepared to accommodate me, I am prepared to wait a couple weeks for the item to arrive. If I am in a hurry, I use courier post. That is what it is for.
