freitasm: If it's a hoax, it's a big one as now large media is reporting as well (see above tweets).

So if the media says its true, its true ? :)

Read what I said: if it's a hoax, then some large media companies are not double-checking things (but we know some don't anyway).

Wouldn't be the first time they've been sucked in and simply parroted what they've heard somewhere else.

I could imagine clowns like Fairfax or NZME being sucked in, but not RadioNZ.

More interesting because only this morning I saw this link and visited: "What did Bowie do at your age?"

This is very strange. Not sure lead time between singing an album and release, but if he was terminally ill, hard to believe his priorities would have been making an releasing an new album on his 69th birthday a few days before dying.

I can easily see that he would prioritize getting the album out. Besides, his part was probably done some time ago and it was up to the rest of the production team.

Also, amazon really need to sort the echo out, I asked it if David Bowie was dead, and it said no, David Bowie is not dead.

There is lots of confirmation now. Either this is the biggest album promotion hoax of all time or he was still making art until the end:

Warning tears may fall.

Edit: vivo clip will not play embedded. Added direct link.

Think you mean  Labyrinth

It is interesting that he never really made it big in the USA, although he was a bit alternative. But am guessing he will be more of a legend now.

That site has basically crashed from all the people hitting it.

Well considering not every source has the news yet, I don't find that surprising. CNN didn't have it 30 minutes ago.
