Yea no system at all at the moment, this would be great.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

So here's my 'flash new' alarm system in my newly built house:

And code door lock:

All of which seems impressive except I live rurally, and the alarm just goes 'beep' with no response as it can only be hooked to an analogue phone, and chorus wanted $2,600 to connect the copper 😆

No response alarm system = 'feel good' factor with no real help at all!

$22 USD. It's rubbish. Poor picture and the 'access' via password isn't secure. So could do with some decent remote monitoring that's safe on the go to access (no fear of Chinese P2P access)

We have a Chubb system.

It was installed when we moved in and the panel is so complex that no one (not even Chubb!) can actually make it work the way it was supposed to. Our house is solid concrete block so installing a wired system is well in the Too Hard basket.

We do have a combined 70kg of canis familiaris in residence, which sounds impressive from outside. Once you're in, you should probably just bring some biscuits. Or a cat.

A camera based system would make much more sense. And I could see what the dogs get up to when we are away - cards, drinking, watching Animal Planet etc.

I am just making careful notes of the members here who have no alarms.... :)

We have a Security Xpress alarm, whatever the heck that is, and a fairly significant German Shepherd called Thunder. What we are missing is video surveillance and this would be handy indeed. I'll post pictures very shortly.

I've got nothing 'official'.

The ducks make a heck of a noise if anyone comes near (people always equals food in their mind)

The dogs make a heck of a noise (all the bl**dy time)

So this will also allow me to see what both the ducks and dogs are up to all day (and if the get together to watch Animal Planet)

After an incident recently (they broke in minutes after I left the house, must have been watching, scary!) I have been looking for something affordable that would also have the ability to have audio conversation via a camera at the front door.

I had high hope for an app called Alfred that uses cellphones as the cameras but sadly the detection algorithm is not reliable.

Cleverloop looks perfect for my needs and the price looks great laughing.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

I have a Paradox alarm but would really like the camera gear and the smart features of the CleverLoop.

Hope it is not cleverer than me!!

Two big dogs and an axe. Kidding about the axe. Maybe.
