My 3D printer. Fun and challenging at the same time. Can't justify it from a practicality point of view, but it scratches a creative itch. Frustrating at times, rewarding when something works.

BurningBeard:

My still-working Commodore 64 I've had since 1987.

On a related note, Acorn Archimedes; for a machine released in 1987 it was certainly extremely well-designed. The OS is modular and you can "softload" new modules to replace the functionality in ROM. With an up-to-date "SharedCLibrary" (and a few other modules) you can run apps that were written today!

Good luck posting on Geekzone from one though tongue-out
