I was in Thailand a few weeks back and ordered two items from the States while I was there. One from a place in New York, one from a place in Colorado. Both were delivered to Portland on a Saturday and showed up in my account on different days (Thu & Fri) so a little slow but I put it down to the volume of packages they probably deal with. As with so many things related to dealing with bringing stuff in from overseas, I think it's a case of YMMV.
I've got an item due for delivery tomorrow. Tracking previously said it had left the country (US) but it seems to have disappeared from tracking completely. I called NZ Post and they said it should have had some more scans by now so have opened an investigation for me...
And yesterday afternoon my item suddenly reappeared on tracking and was delivered this morning. Exactly on time...
