SepticSceptic: Depends if it's staff only, or does it include spouses and family ?

Agree. Too many events are like a very expensive meeting around a table plus food and drinks. There is no shortage of meetings. It's a good time to thank families etc.

We're doing a party bus trip to a vineyard/restaurant somewhere north.

I suspect most will get so blathered on the bus trip, all they'll want to do at the restaurant is have a pee then get on the bus to go home again...

Yeah our company is doing the exact same thing.

I took my team to do this a couple of weeks ago. Great fun and great food. Thoroughly recommended.
