Help yourself to help others.

People can't help you if you can't help yourself.

If someone's helping you, ask what you can do to help them in return.

Im a strong believer in that!

The law of attraction. The belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.

If it wont bother you in five years, don't let it bother you now for more than five minutes.

Always order a special meal on your international flight. The food is better, the meal is individually prepared, and you get to eat while everyone else is still waiting.

1) Drink Water Regularly. Not only is it probably the best drink for your health, but your body needs it and it will reduce any chances of you getting headaches.

2) never spit into the wind

3) floss

I think it's still production line, they make many many meals. The downside is you're finished before others get served so you sit with your rubbish for ages. Still, it's better, and you get what you ordered.

My father drove around with a bumper sticker on his car:

"Live long enough to become a problem to your children" - which he achieved.

More seriously, the best advice I think is "don't worry".

Most things we worry about, the fact that we worry makes no difference at all to the outcome - but the journey to get there will be much less pleasant. (Shorter too - proven by science that being a "worrier" very significantly shortens life expectancy).

That - and be nice to people.  Being nice is a greater virtue than being clever, rich, beautiful, whatever. When you're nice then people like you, and most of the other crap we worry about is based on the concept of worrying that people won't like us and we won't be happy unless we buy crap we don't need - and have been convinced we should "want" as it's needed to ensure happiness.

Sounds trite, but I think it's true.
