There is one at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. I remember standing next to it a few years ago, amazed to be so close to something that just a few more years ago had been so secret that standing that close would have got me shot!

And at the air and space museum at Dulles, DC. Awesome. Stand next to an SR71, Shuttle, Saturn 5 boosters, wow

They can be a pain. In Summer when I water lawns, they get their mates over to remove my worms. Well the lawns worms not mine.

Watering just after dark tends to help that.

Hold on here...
Does that also mean that the water doesn't evaporate as fast and in turn is more efficient at watering?

Starlings, on the other hand are a menace.

Blackbirds are nice, as well as Tui's. Don't mind starlings. They're all good around home.

Pigeon's in Wellington City\CBD on the other hand....they almost need a cull.

Dont know of this is myth or what, but the Maoris used to kill them when they went out on their raiding forays. The birds chittering used to give away the raiding party positions as they disturbed the undergrowth, to the other side.

I'd say it's a myth. How is the fantail-killer (presumably roaming out ahead of the raiding party, kindof Wild Weasel), going to sneak up on a fantail before it starts chittering about *him*? Not to mention, how is he going to discreetly kill a bunch of birds flying in Brownian motion up above his head? It really requires a super-ninja warrior. And, if you're a super-ninja, capable of silently killing fantails, why not just evade the fantails and go ahead and silently kill your actual enemies?
