freitasm: Another interesting read
Yep.
Creating perceptions of what the "ideal" woman should be, based solely on appearance (naked and posed in a sexually provocative manner) in no way empowers women.
Men arguing otherwise need to get a grip (on reality - not the thing from which viewing such images makes them instinctively fixate).

To enliven the dull beigeness of the PC modern hell we call life, if nothing else.
Oh dear and ROFL.
I hope you're not trying to suggest that the "PC modern world" restricts your access to soft porn - if that's what you need to brighten up your day.

There are many people in the world like him, just not in the spotlight due to pornography being so rampant due to the internet. Their are many many websites owned by individuals that do similar things to Hugh but the imagery is far more pornographic due to peoples insatiable desires for content.
If you think its wrong women are objects of desire, then their is almost as many websites that make men objects of desire. Something for everything...it could be said.

It has sod all to do with that giant cop out excuse about the non existent PC make believe it is about respect.

Not at all. I was not really referring to pornography (if pictures of naked women is actually pornography) at all but more so to the ineffable character of a man who lived life according to his own rules, with a delightful twist of eccentricity.

I tend not to take a lot of notice of people these days who bleat on about 'respect' as if it is something they are mystically entitled to, rather than something they actually have to earn.

Don't give us, especially not in this particular context, some cr@p about respect having to be earned... As any reasonably non-dumb person could suppose from Mike's post he's talking about respect of women as people in their own right, not sexual objects for the gratification of men. What on earth does 'earning' respect have to do with this?
So often your posts make me wonder if time travel is real, given your attitudes and values come from era in existence many generations ago. It's just tragic.

Jonathan you forgetting one important thing. And thats the right of a woman, who has the right to chose this kind of life if she wants. Even if you feel its for the "gratification of men". And.. for the record its not just men "gratification of some woman too". You coming across as sexist!
Many woman that do this kind of work, including prostitutes, they actually do it because they enjoy it. And they should have the right to chose to do this kind of work. Do you object to prostitution too?
I did like Jimmy Neesham's tweet on the subject:

Women appear to enjoy men being made into sexual objects for their gratification a la Chippendales, various magazines etc etc. It's pretty normal for one gender to enjoy looking at the other naked or clothed. Seems more like you're the one with a problem about that not me.
My attitudes and values just haven't slipped as far as what appears to pass for normal these days.

100% agree. But the PC world of today will try and make you feel like a pervert for being turned on when a beautiful woman pulls out her breast in public in a restaurant. Hell its only normal to enjoy the sight of a beautiful woman's breast!

That's a very weird post.
It's also got NOTHING to do with "PC".
"PC" was the old world, where men who wanted to perve at photos of naked women had to buy their playboy magazines etc wrapped in brown paper, then pretend they bought them to read the articles.

My favourite articles were about the 36D's defying gravity.
