He has been ready for eternal sleep for 50 years by wearing his dressing gown the whole time.

A hard look to pull off down at the local mall, but some do :-)

never read the magazines but I guess he provided some sort of service. How many teenage boys grew up thinking women have staples in their navels?  RIP

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

What pornography? I don't remember any. It was all art!

Definitely not - as the internet has completely disrupted his original business model.

A lot of contradictions there to be sure. He was a pig in many ways in his personal life........but the change in attitudes to sex in wider society was generally a good thing....and he gets a lot of credit for being out in front there. Not alone....far from it....but high-profile and leading.

I disagree with bits of that article. Was the cash payment a porn problem or an entertainment industry problem? At that same time how were artists being paid at bars and casinos?

Yes, someone got a free car for a year and returned it. This happens in other "lottery" type of contests too.

My point is that some of the arguments come across as looking for something that is not there.

Had the author gone deeper into looking at how objectification works then it would be more credible.
