I'd get it checked by a proper mechanic if I were you. I know too many people who have had false reports by the AA, eg things they've missed and pointed out and made a song and dance about minor things...

Yeah especially tubo cars... AA never seem to check them properly. Compression test is a good start.......

The AA check included a compression test- I got the full test not the once over lightly.
