Oh man, I gave in and bought one of those Windrider quads (Chinese Rev clone) - $363, so about $250 cheaper than the real deal. That's now over $700 on four kites this year, and all my 'pocket money' is gone!

Went with the vented model so I can fly it in a decent breeze:

Will post back here when it's arrived and I've given it a go, but apparently they aren't the quickest to perfect...

I'll stick with the old Flexifoil Stranger. Best not to upset SWMBO with another toy purchase. Hopefully it still flies.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

If you have flown 2-line before, you know the basics. Best bit of advise is to bungeecord your elbows to your sides or strap your forearms together to prevent the urge to swing the arms back (mostly inefective)

Your review may tempt me to splash out. Flicking some stunts is one thing, mastering and showing off a quad is another

Oooooh. Seamless axles! - I hope you use it for such things :P so smooth.

I saw a chap at the beach once with 3 of them, had no idea how to throw down some tricky ones :P

Can, well. Could, do the basics with mine. But not stable enough to lay on its back or pop tight rotations
