I wonder if they try to fill up a container and then row a boat across the sea?

Batman: I wonder if they try to fill up a container and then row a boat across the sea?

No, but given they have a subsidiary operating this side of the ditch, I suspect they feel little incentive to rush shipments.....

The trouble is that JB over here have a fraction of the stock of their mother store.

Still, I suppose it wouldn't be in their best interest to carry that much stock.

Updates: Goods arrived today!!!

Well I placed the initial order on 8 May,when the site showed goods "in stock"

It was only prepared and dispatched on 14 May.

It arrived today, 15 June; so it took the package over a month by air (JB Hifi Australia uses Air Post for all international orders, with no tracking provided) from Australia to NZ

Parcel by Amazon (both from USA and UK) usually takes 7-14 days to arrive at my door step

Parcel by air from Taiwan usually takes 5 days to arrive at my door step

Parcel by sea from China usually takes 30-45 days to arrive at my door step

I sent them an email query about the whereabout of the parcel three days ago; as of today, no reply at all.

This has to be my worst online shopping experience ever.

Period.

Yet they think that the problem is no GST on imports.
