From memory, it was two weeks in May, two weeks in August, last week (or two) of December and all of January. That was it.

I can't say I dislike the idea of school holidays being restricted to 4 weeks a year.

Yes, the issue is more about kids applying for Annual Leave rather than be structured to the school schedule. Not that they get the same Annual leave as employees
