Never bothered, bonus of this is iron clad immunity to most things!

I wish, as a result of my medical conditions I have a heavily suppressed immune system.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I will lick my phone screen top to bottom then furiously rub it on my jeans or shirt and it always comes back pristine!

Feel for you, if circumstances require, absolutely take precautions.

Keyboard is easiest with a straw from McDonalds, you can suck up most bits quickly, phone is just a quick lick and a wipe.

@Coil it was not the action that nearly made me hurl but the thought of where your phone or tongue had been 😜🤮

Mouse, keyboard and phone - soft cloth with diluted water and dettol with most of the liquid squeezed out.  Then anti static cloth.  Screen not sure.  I have used a anti static cloth with warm water.  Things only last so long anyway and over time show wear and tear.

Edit

I only use a cheap $45 set keyboard / mouse.  Not often maybe 4x a year?  The phone bit more often monthly?  Often no dettol, just warm water and buff off with anti static cloth.  It does have a tempered glass protector.

What is the currently recommended method to clean your phone and keep it germ free as much as possible? I am wary of wipes that might damage the screen/surface etc.

Also keen to know how people clean their keyboards? I have Logitech Keyboards and often feel like they could use a clean, but I am always short on time, and feel like buying a new KB every 12 months is excessive?

Is this a serious question or are you winding us up?

Seriously, the only cleaning my phone needs is removing finger marks off the screen, which geneally means wiping it on some clothing. My keyboard hardly ever needs cleaning, may be every 3 or 4 years I may get a brush and clean the dust from around the keys.

What are people doing that needs more cleaning than this?

I can assure you I don't accept owning grubby items, my phone and keyboard look almost like new.
