Even though for the price and use case they didn't exactly suit me, I must admit I was blown away by how comfortable they were.

Sorry to take this off topic, but @Lias , where do you get your shoes.  Do you have a local source?  My son is a size 15 and it's always a struggle, even on Amazon, to find suppliers who'll ship to NZ for a reasonable price.

Mostly Number One Shoes, because they sell these in a 15L for $40, I'm up to about my tenth pair, last time they had a 50% off sale I got 4 pairs lol. Otherwise whatever/where-ever I can find something that fits and isn't extortionate. I'm a UK 14 / US 15, but with quite wide feet so not everything in those sizes (or bigger!) fits, for instance Number One at one point had a slip-on dress shoe in up to size 17, but I couldn't get my foot into the size 17 even, because of the width.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.
