rb99:

Well I just looked at that keyboard again (Logitech K800) and Amazon Export Sales (repeat Export) still won't ship it to my selected address in NZ.

AES sent me one fine in Sept 2017 though.

Don't think stock comes into that particular item anywhere, though I can believe Logitech moaned to them about it.

There are 94 sellers with the K800 on Amazon and plenty of those will ship internationally - cheapest is $73 vs the $59 Amazon want.

Yes Amazon are restricted by some companies when it comes to  selling products internationally, but in many cases the explanation is a lot simpler and is what I mentioned above - that the product isn't carried in the distribution centres that are supported for international shipping.

The problem is I'm cheap, which is why I use Amazon, and the gap between US$59 and US$73 is large enough, by the time you use their ex rates and add postage, to be a lot closer to local prices.

And while no doubt you are correct about international distribution centres, I got a bit curious and picked another three Logitech keyboards and they all get rejected when I change my address to an NZ one, so maybe...

Geektastic: I can get the Pixelbook as long as I don't order it with the pen. As soon as you add that, it won't ship.

Also, I can't find out if the seller is official and I gather Google are very prone to refusing warranty cover for units not bought from official sellers.

Might be better sucking my teeth and buying a MacBook.

Well off topic, but the Pixelbook is pure awesomeness. I ❤️ mine very much. But make sure it will run everything you need. Mine is more a daily driver of email, web and YouTube. Bit of SSH too. But I tend to go back to windows when I need to do something more productive.
