Try this

 

1. Press the Home button (#12)
2. Use the Up directional / navigation button (#2) to get to the top row of the menu
3. Use the Right directional / navigation button (#2) to get to the Settings cogwheel
   
   
   
4. Use the Down directional / navigation button (#2) to get to the Wi-Fi settings and press OK (#3)
   
   
   
5. Ensure the Wi-Fi slider button is on / light blue / to the right
   and select your Wi-Fi network from the list of displayed, then press OK again
   
   
   
6. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network using the onscreen keyboard
   
   
   
7. You should now be connected
