LTT is pretty big in the modders/BYO crowd, His other channels tend to be a little more restrained

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

All comment's I make are my own personal opinion and do not in any way, shape or form reflect the views of current or former employers unless specifically stated

I like LTT i have watched them grow over many years and see them do some fun stuff. I could care less about the chip saga for what I use my stuff for I am not about to go out and upgrade for a a marginal increase.

Tbf this isn't the first time Linus has called out Intel. He ripped into them pretty hard for during their X299 launch in 2017.

That must have sent their profits plunging?

If he presented his argument in a calm and measured manner he'd probably find that even more people would take him seriously. In no way am I defending Intel or what they supposedly did that upset him so much, but that video just makes him look like a spoilt kid spitting his dummy out.

His shrill dorkiness is part of his shtick - like him or loathe him, he has a lot of fans, and his channel's reviews carry a lot of weight.

I prefer Unbox Therapy he has 16 million subscribers if any of this stuff matters.

Yup he is a little different in terms of his content. I liked his channel for awhile but then went off it for some reason.

Unbox Therapy is probably more similar to MKBHD, LTT is more like JayzTwoCents very desktop PC orientated, very different content.

Linus knows his stuff and is a straight shooter who won’t hold back even at the expense of losing future sponsorship, very refreshing to have someone tell it like it is, I like reviewers who don’t hold back for no one.

The performance graphs were hilarious.. I wonder what the blurred out bars are for?

I assume this video was filmed before AMD's NDA had lifted.

yep, it was released before the AMD NDA (a few hours..)

Best part about this thread is reading the responses from people who have never heard of Linus Tech Tips before. Hilarious!

Glad someone with his pull and influence is making this painful for Intel. He does it to everyone - Apple, AMD, and Samsung included. No fear of having sponsorship pulled.. which appears to be the reason why he's one of the few calling Intel's crap out.
