I think we can exclude Provence because surely they wouldn’t price-match something selling in France.

Canterbury is our Provence. Similarly Otago, West Coast, Southland etc.

We say Region, but they really are Provence's or is it Province's? (At least as far as I was taught)

I won’t confuse things any further by bringing provenance into this - because we all know where that came from. 😀
