Here in Hamilton on sh1b Gordonton rd there's a place that sells many different types of plants including trees. It appears they also do delivery if required

For several years we had 2 in the neighbourhood. The same 2 - 3 notes over and over and over again.
It is amazing how fast listening to the same notes over and over again will make you wish for bad things to happen to said source of noise.

We love the Tuis in our garden. It's not unusual for us to see up to 4 at once. They've just started returning after their normal summer sojourn to places unknown. Generally their song is pretty good, however there is often one that can be a tad monotonous with its repertoire.

Yeah, much like people I think it's a small minority of them that are the issue. We've lived here for 10 years and this was the first summer when this was a problem. Though it did prompt me to google "repetitive tui" at the time and that's quite a rabbithole...

I guess if you live in a reasonably rural area they're fine, but maybe not so much the "urban" Tui. I suppose I should be thankful we didn't get the "crying baby" Tui lol.
