Rush coffee is also nice. Tried the Rush expresso ($22.50 for 500g free delivery).
I get their Adrenalin blend. They do excellent coffee!

My local roaster is Dark Horse Coffee, at https://darkhorsecoffee.co.nz/ in Paraparaumu. If I order early enough in the morning, there's a delivery for me at the end of the day.
Mine is Millers Coffee downside can only get through his shop off k road before 12mon-fri, but well worth visit.
kiwi_64:Best. In fact, so Best, it gets added to the Best chocolateSupreme (https://coffeesupreme.com/) is great, and currently offer free shipping within NZ
I'm another Havana fan, pretty much been through most of the blends, Honduras Organic mainly now I think. But I get a plunger grind. Too much travelling so I need it already ground.
Thanks for this thread guys, recently moved to the sticks (well remote beach) and over paying four square prices for stale beans.
Rush just got an order, will report back.
Cheers Cyril
I usually buy from these guys in Morrinsville https://essenzacoffee.co.nz/
I'm now going to have to try out some of these other places that people have mentioned!
I've been impressed with Dear Deer coffee in Onehunga both price and taste

I was gifted a subscription from https://onthegrind.co.nz/collections/thestore for my birthday, not cheap but it's great getting coffee from new roasters every month, enjoying it so far.
You can see what roasters have been supplied previously here

Excelso. https://www.excelso.co.nz
I've been their customer for more than 20 years now.
(They're in Tauranga and I'm in the South Island)
I still use cafe L'affare after many many years and still buy their Primo beans. Cheaper than most at $40/kg but I seem to be getting a bit old fashioned these days. I did buy the Kapiti one for a while (listed above) but found it a bit too dark and bitter for me, but great for those that like it that way.

Hi, arrived a couple of days after the order, coffee is superb, strong and flavoursome, had to turn my grind back a wee bit to get the right extraction as these are much fresher beans than I am used to.
Being fresh it needs a little more post roasting airing, so leaving it in the hopper is for the better, as compared to supermarket beans that are past their used by before you buy them.
So all in all, I will repeat the order, very happy.
Cyril
