Agreed. I remember you use to get this intense  "cheese" flavour with twisties but haven't had that for a long time now. It's now a mild cheese flavour. Obviously cheese flavoring must be expensive.

Reminds of a NSFW joke:

Guy goes to his doctor and says "Doctor, something is wrong with my penis - it's gone an orange colour". The doctor runs some tests and finds nothing wrong with him. The doctor asks the guy what changes has he had in his lifestyle to which the guy replies "well my wife left me a while back and all I do is sit at home and watching porn and eating twisties"

I spoke to them via Facebook Chat and they said that it's some sort of manufacturing fault.

Hopefully they'll be able to fix it.

Are they providing free replacements?

So many of the things I've loved over the years are a shadow of their former selves!

Probably but not really worth my time to send them the photo, barcode, photos of my undies for a voucher for 2-3 replacement packs at $1 each?

Slightly related

I've switched to Snackachangi for my crisps.  They are a little bit like a cross between a normal crisp and one of those kettle style in the sense the chips are must harder.  I find the flavour to be much much stronger than Eta or Bluebird, especially the salt and vinegar one.

Perfect with onion dip.

ETA Cruncheese still have a good strong cheese flavour as far as I know, awesome texture too

Cheezels have returned to more of a normality. Apparently this new Rashuns shape is here to stay. Still haven't got Burger Rings right though.

Looks like I'll have to start eating Eta snacks instead.

I think they are pumping more air into the mixture making it go further. I couldnt eat last bag I bought...

Some things have got better after being made overseas and my fav. at the moment is Griffins biscuits. Quality and manufacture of overseas biscuits are superior.

Biscuits, for sure. But if it's savoury snack foods I'm after...Bluebird if you're reading this (which you probably aren't), have a look at your Facebook page. It's littered with complaints about this "new and improved" standard. Has anyone actually contacted you to say your product is better after all these changes?

Cheezels are a bit closer to what they used to be now, but Rashuns taste weird, ditto Twisties.

Burger Rings are more like Microscopic Burger Ovals now, not even close to a ring :D

Anyone purchased Burger Rings lately? Bluebird said it was only going to be a temporary change while they adjust to the new machinery.

Sh*t food aside, these have been debated and reported for 6/12 months to companies who don't care since they're (well at leas the executives are) making bank, so to speak in modern parlance.

Eff them, stop buying into their MBA lead race to the bottom shite.

The Bluebird manager-type-guy (towards the end of the video) sounds like he cares, but I suppose anyone can say they do:

Sounded to me like he was reading a script carefully prepared by Bluebird's PR company.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Really can't imagine him saying "The suits at PepsiCo told us to use this new wheat that causes Burger Rings to taste like saw dust. We can't do anything about it so you guys will just need to suck it up. The original Burger Rings is gone for good."
