In a vessel other than a cone I would assume.

I don't know the reason behind it. I've just been in line multiple times where some older folk have had a go at the staff for not being able to serve them their usual cheap cone in the sun.

Outside of the fast-food chains it looks like the shore doesn't have any options, does anyone know good soft serve stores in the rest of Auckland?

When McDonalds bought them back they just were not as good.

It was same suppliers etc and pies, just being run into the ground. I left just before the buy out, but a friend stayed to the bitter end of the Hunters Plaza branch.

It all just proved McD's didnt like competition.

Only place I can think of is kiwiyo in takapuna but that’s soft serve frozen yogurt. Not a fan myself but the wife n boy love it..I think it might have something to do with all the goodies they can add to it 😁

Usually open quite late too

KiwiYo is good, I have been there and one of my boys likes it too. If I can't find soft serve ice cream in a cone that will probably be my next best option, I guess.

Had a soft serve cone at Manners Street Maccas on Friday. They have been doing them for ages. No other Maccas in Welly are doing them though.

Maccas cones came back when orange came back I believe.

I don't work there any more but was leaving around the time

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

I wish they were, Glenfield doesn't have them at all, in fact cones aren't even listed as being available on their website.

Seems to have been a change of policy at my local at least

With McDonald's once again dishing out cones with a tissue

Although they still seem to be lacking from the website. May have just caved to the pressure since the local night and day has shutdown that used to dish them out

Kaiapoi down here in the south. Owner also has Rangiora and pegasus under their belt. But don't frequent those enough to notice.
