Microfiber and Fleece as in bathrobes and blankets, to socks and cleaning cloths. Fast drying and very cosy.

My wife can’t stand to touch microfibre cloths. So it’s always fun to leave them on her car seat, keyboard and other unexpected locations 😁😇

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

The discovery of the use of binary to set/detect a state and the invention of the diode.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Maybe not quite an invention, but I must also share this particular fleece jacket Mr E lives in constantly and that I have bought for gifts for over three years and it has been equally loved by all recipients. It’s sherpa fused to microfleece.

It’s thick, light and warm. Found the sizing was generous, he is usually XL so went down one size. Bought another today. FYI Large (L) is 65cm underarm to underarm (per his old one and waiting to confirm sizing is still the same).

Silicone in all its many forms. From kitchenware to mats to the stuff in tubes. What a miracle material it is.

Sliced bread.

People always say something's "the best thing since sliced bread" but they're wrong every time.

The smart phone , closely followed by Search Engines.

If you'd told me back in the 80's I could do my banking, send photos and videos for free, watch TV and live events , take a photo and video..... all on one device that fitted in my pocket I wouldn't have believed it possible in my life time. That was Star Trek !

The telephone.

The idea that you can enter a sequence of numbers and get one single handset anywhere on Earth to ring and then be able to speak to someone is a marvel greatly taken for granted.
