Eva888: Hope it turned out ok.

Yup, everything's back to (relative) normal, it was probably just a small stroke.

Be careful, there are no ‚small‘ strokes. Only those one survive and those one not survive! Take care.

So far I wasted a lot of time sitting at VTNZ watching the glacial speed of technicians working on inspections as I wait for mine to be done.

Got mine done last week at VTNZ, went early and was second in the line so it was only about a half hour of waiting thankfully.

Today I am fixing up my resume with a view to getting another job after joining the Great Resignation late last year.  Have realized that I've become a professional recluse in the past twelve months and it's harder to get your references in line when people think you've died.

Today I did absolutely nothing. Yesterday I spent a wonderful morning sleeping in the sun.

Busy at work today and needed to get out on my lunch break for a walk and fresh air. Naturally it decided to bucket down and now I'm back at my desk, soaked to my skin and regretting that decision to walk now 😂

I just went for a walk with my wife and kids (small fluffy kid included) at the beach.

Was windy, but not cold and was nice to get away from my desk for a bit.

Throwing in some topic drift, how many people here can sleep in sunlight vs. need to be sealed up in a dark tomb to sleep? There seems to be a split, like cat vs. dog people, between people who like the windows open and light flooding in and those who want to sleep in a sealed tomb.

I did not wait that long to the car in. It was more the complete lack of any dynamism or urgency displayed or wish to help the customer get on with his working day in a timely manner that delayed things...!

In my ideal world bedrooms would not have windows. Or if they did, they would have German style security shutters that closed at night to (a) keep out the ne'er-do-wells and (b) keep out the sun.

So your ideal bedroom would be this?

It probably has something to do with vampires and the living dead.
