DS248:

These days even trouser pockets can be an issue.  Moving from an S8 to S22U I discovered the new phone does not fit fully in the pockets of some trousers/jeans.  Currently walking around with a corner of the phone sticking out of the pockets.  Not ideal.

Deeper trouser pockets can also be an issue.  End up with a big square lump projecting out partway down the trouser leg (aesthetic issue!)

Wish trouser makers would include separate inner pockets that hold phones in place higher up.  Would also better protect the phone.

Agree phone in shirt pocket not a great idea. Have enough problems losing reading glasses that fall out when bending over.

I have a similar issue with cheap exercise shorts for going for 2-hour walks in. Cheapy Warehouse ones have pockets deep enough for my phone, but the very similar shape ones from K-Mart have pockets that are shallower, meaning that my phone is in danger of falling out every time I sit down. Not a big deal in the office, but a much bigger deal if on my bike.

I lost my last phone's screen for that reason, pockets too shallow and fell onto the concrete during a walk. Agree that the K-Mart shorts seem the worst

Geektastic: Contact Harvie & Hudson in Jermyn Street and engage them to make you a week’s worth of bespoke shirts with pockets to your specification.

You’re approaching the problem from the wrong angle.

Right, will do.  About time I had a nice shirt!
