Purchased a few things from them, really good delivery (looks like they have a distribution centre in South Auckland) so I suspect they may express ship there in bulk (DHL ?) then into NZ Post local.

Seem to ship by air out of Hong Kong within a day or so of ordering. A lot of "pre-landfill" stuff on offer but also a lot of what I have ordered I have not seen elsewhere (keyboard cleaners, velcro cable ties etc.)

First items received were good and great price. But not sure if I would buy anything critical for health (i.e. KN95/N95 masks) from them - or any Aliexpress type shipper.

More like an explosion in a landfill. The pages are overwhelming with random litter and I could not find a proper satellite receiver, which I tried repeatedly to search for. Talk about the trees hiding the forest!

I have used them once.  Very quick and the quality wasn't too bad.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/temu-shopping-app-and-your-data-is-the-chinese-owned-platform-all-its-cracked-up-to-be/S7O2OKEKW5EOBI2HF7SSF7WVZQ/ (paywalled)

A Kiwi woman signs up for Temu but then starts receiving scam texts after uninstalling the app:

A few days later third-party scammers texted her and her other friends one of those annoying and obviously false messages that they owed hundreds of dollars in road toll fines. Farrelly believes there could be a link.

Might want to keep your Temu Shopping Web-based.

Serious security concerns with the app:

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Seems legit..

Woke me. Sure, may not be stolen data etc as a source. But the way it works is being exploited. Rogues.

(No, don't have a temu acct. Number not known to me. So either spoofed mailbomb or someone with my numbers been harvested and passed or given it permission)

Is there anything to be gained by posting a knowingly biased video?
