kaboom: image if people donated $150 pp to say a fund to find cure for cancer ?? i bet we would find a cure very soon ...

Now that's another can of worms right there! There's too much money being made from diseases like Cancer and AIDS now.  Rick Simpson's "Running from the Cure" documentary is very interesting.

I could go on but I don't wanna wreck this thread.

It just so happens our anniversary is on valentine's day, and I resent having to pay $20 for a freakin' rose.

It ""just so happens"?  What a funny coincidence!  Especially considering neither yourself nor your wife "believe in" Valentine's Day.  I guess you just got married on that day because it was a day in the middle of your favourite month February? Wink

Didn't say wedding anniversary did I??? ;)  We're not married. Yet.

We hooked up on that day, 'tis all.

"Tradition"... a cute buzz-word for advertising blitz.

Sorry, my assumption.  You hooked up on that day, 'tis all?  Just a couple of random people chilling out on a random day in February... Laughing

If I were you, I'd change the date of your anniversary!

Yeah we do actually celebrate it a week or two out from Valetine's Day. Usually after.

Going to Auckland next week for a gig and some tattoos, so we're calling that our present.
