I still have a couple of memorable adverts running around on my head, and have been known to mutter a few lines, usually in earshot of someone ..

Ches n Dale.. we are the boys from down on the farm, we really know our cheese ....

Kentucky Fried Chicken ... Hugo said you go, but I said, no you go, and soon he was back with a pack and we sat in the back, feeling better in siiiiide..
A ride isn't funny on an empty tummy, thank goodness for Kentucky Fried...

And because I looked up that one on Youtube, I got this one for the Labour party in 1984 - very familiar themes then as right now:

 

 

Supermarket at around 1m10s - cigarettes on display on the end cap. For reference, 2L of Milk in 1984 was $1.
