SCUBADOO:

Apparently a genuine Microsoft partner.

I have a bridge to sell too, built by the same guys who designed and built the Auckland Bridge.

It's been said before and worth mentioning again, none of the places selling cheap keys for Office (or Windows itself) are legit and if you think they are, you are deluding yourself to justify not paying full price.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I understand all that and expect no bargain but would like to understand the error of my ways. $439 retail here.

The name mentioned here supplied the code from their apparently genuine webserver.

https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/partner-dir/d7971619-cf41-4574-8d78-c93587caa910/overview/contact?exp=uubp8

To my eyes this looks like an official Microsoft link. Perhaps it's not?

Should it be reported to MS?

It's a partner benefit and they are on-selling it. They sellers are not partners. They probably find vulnerable accounts, use their credentials to access the licences and sell those.

It could be an employee selling those.

In any case, they are not for sale. But they appear on the web.

Should you report? Sure but not that link. That link is a contact form for the partner. They may not do anything. Report to Microsoft instead, which is interested in stopping piracy. But good luck finding the right option - large companies don't make it easier for you: Contact Us - Microsoft Support

Will you take part shares, or perhaps swap for the ones I have in San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge?

No chance of using LibreOffice? Or even OnlyOffice...
